As Director for Farm Bureau’s Agricultural Policy Division, Kevin is responsible for managing Farm Bureau’s Policy Development and implementation programs, National Affairs Program and the Environmental Services Program. He works closely with the Division staff to achieve the goals of the organization through policy implementation, regulatory and legislative efforts.

Kevin works with regulatory agencies, elected officials as well as other associations to implement Farm Bureau’s policy initiatives. The Ag Policy Division is responsible for organizing large groups of individuals with diversified farming operations and helping them reach consensus on organizational policy and related issues.

Kevin is familiar with various types of agriculture law and regulatory requirements with special expertise in Agricultural Labor and Employment Law, pesticide regulations and Worker Protection Standards. He has experience with Vegetable, Horticulture, Tobacco, Forestry and Invasive Pest-related regulatory issues.

He joined Florida Farm Bureau in 1984 as Coordinator of Young Farmer and Women’s Programs. He was a charter member of the Ag in the Classroom Board of Directors and served as Chairman for two terms. Kevin started with the agricultural policy division in 1992 as assistant director and became associate director in 1997. Kevin became division director in 2004. Kevin attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and graduated from Lake City Community College in 1978.

Kevin and his Wife Cindy have two children and live on their family farm in White Springs. They are active in the Jasper Presbyterian Church.
